Foundation Board Working for 4-H!
On August 5, Board Members met to work on the strategic plan for the upcoming 4-H year. With several events in the works, look for exciting news from the Foundation in the near future. We wish to send a big THANK YOU to Waterman Communities for donating a wonderful lunch!
Friday, July 18, 2008 was a landmark day for the Lake County 4-H program and the Lake County 4-H Foundation. Alice Ayers, former 4-H Agent and current Foundation Treasurer presented Christopher Catanzaro, Lake County's 4-H Extension Agent, a check for $5,000! In a statement from Christopher, he writes "For over 80 years the youth of Lake County 4-H have participated in educational programs that have provided them with the skills and abilities to mature into successful young adults. Thanks to the hard work and extreme dedication of the newly formed Lake County 4-H Foundation, our youth will continue to have the opportunity to succeed and have a promising future in their life and the community in which they reside."
